2020 is a golden year for Firmenich; it is our 125th Anniversary!

Firmenich was founded as a start-up in Geneva on November 1st 1895 in the garage of Charles Firmenich by Philippe Chuit, a visionary creator and scientist. He was quickly joined in his endeavor by Frédéric Firmenich, a pioneering entrepreneur. Building on this legacy, today we are the world’s leading privately-owned Perfume and Taste Company.

Since our creation in 1895, Firmenich has always been more than a company, we are a family with a unique legacy for responsible business.
